I have always liked the Hook Complete series, as the mountain bikes are always really good, and are light and not bulky at all really. The only issue that I have with it is that the speed settings are not that varied and there are not many of them. But it is a good bike other than that.

I was told that the Schwinn Men’s Protocol 2.7 series is the way to go as far as getting an affordable bike goes. I realize what you stated about it being heavy, but I can handle that. I will do more research on this.

I have not decided which mountain bike to get but these all look good, especially since they are affordable and they look quite sturdy and effective. They should last a long time. I obviously cannot get all of them but I can definitely get one. I will have to determine which one it will be.
